Insecure, Episode 6 Recap

Semn Elemn, swear that is the weirdest place to see a person you said goodbye to, after months of no communication. Well Lawrence is here for Coachella with his raggedy ass friend Chad. We all caught up as a group on Lawrence's hoeabouts, but nonetheless we are caught up. All I have to say is, who *clap* is *clap* the *clap* hoe *clap* now *clap* Lawrence? Not gonna lie, kind of missed the infamous Lawrence stroke game though.

Anywho, Nathan is here supporting Issa's dreams. At this point I believe this man is a hobosexual (heard this phrase from Mouse Jones). A person who has relations for shelter. We have yet to see his place of residency. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was sleeping with the next woman for stable food and shelter. Also I liked the permit scene, real cute yet real sad. Practically have to swim in paperwork to host a decent event. But why is the woman’s attitude a mirror of every city worker I have encountered? Is there a bitchy training they go through or something?

The fact that Nathan can read every small gesture off of Issa's body is adorable. Still got my eye on him since we can’t read his. Ol’ guarded behind.

Molly over here drowning in work and blocking her fashion blessings. Declining to meet with one of them friends to get her bomb ass jacket back. *sigh* When will she understand that Dro *clap* ain't *clap* coming *clap* back?

Whatever, all I know is bitter doesn't look good on her and the shade she slid in at the end was unnecessary.

So Hoewrence is making his rounds...and obviously has lost count. Lord, he has to do better.

Yeah I'm just going to leave that right there. This scene gave me anxiety. The awkward silence, him either thinking too hard or putting on a facad. He got close so fast, a tad bit clingy to me. But what do I know...I'm still single.

Molly, young lady, stop *clap* blocking *clap* your *clap* blessings. Interracial love is in the stars for us melaninated women. Gotta follow the trend, because the brothas just don't love us like they used to, or they are perpetrating a fraud.

Kelli is in the house! Natasha Rothwell I see an Emmy for you next year girl. If not I will boycott and make a think piece about it.

Moving on, thank you Issa for clocking Molly for trying to block her blessing. Real friends. We have all been like Molly, making up excuses because we’re scared. Been there, done that...still scared. The cupcake segment was a classic. And, mmm Nathan, that is all I'm going to say.

Hoewrence, Chad and Derek are discussing life. Hoewrence is in denial right along with Chad cheating ass. I love Derek though, I can see the dynamic between all of them; he balances out Lawrence and Lawrence balances out Chad. The fact that Lawrence balances out Chad is sad. Is it me or has the N-word being dropped more freely on this episode? And someone explain to me what hoe shit is, please.

Onto this baby shower. Not mad at Tiffany for getting a new crew. She told y'all that this crew was going to shambles, y'all just didn't want to hear it. Sis is MOVING ON! Nathan, starting to prove me right, this is why I had my eye on this beige bandit.

Cousin Issa and her old boo were looking real adorable. I felt like Molly while watching them bond like they used to.

I have had this theory ever since they broke up that they were going to be in shambles without each other. And well looka here, shambles errwhere. But they embrace their shambles in laughs and that is so beautiful.

Now for this next part I need a breather.

Young Dro, who do you think you are? Yes Molly tried it dealing with the whole polyamorous thing. But, my brotha, you have no place to be mad when she wants to set boundaries on y'all mess. Just because you and your wife don't have boundaries doesn't mean that your side life shouldn't have some. Trifling ass negroe lost his damn mind. Got my blood pressure up and what not.

Kelli's in the house, again! I'm just going to say that everytime Queen Natasha graces my screen. I felt sorry for her though. Been in Kelli's place, but my friend's don't have kids. But it sucks when you think you're not good enough for your friends. Hurts to the core. I would've left though, because I don't respect disrespect. I pray she knows her worth in that friend and that she should just move accordingly from this day on.

Issa, Molly and now Candace is in the hallway...yeah awkward, real awkward. But I am happy Molly is finally moving on. She can do wayyyyyyyyyy better than Dro and his Little Richard hair do.

I feel that Hoewrence wants to be Lawrence again and get back with Issa. Too little too late homie.

Kelli has left the building, finally. Know your worth queen, Tiffany doesn't deserve you. Now onto this bomb that was dropped. A baby. Poor lil tink tink. I didn't see it coming, but then again I did. But who cares, the baby is going to be born into a mess anyway.
