As you wake up, what drives you to get up out of bed and get the day started?

Well for the last year or so, I didn't have a strong emotion towards anything. I had no passion. I would wake up, get dressed, go about my day and then go to sleep. Pretty boring. I didn't have drive or passion to do anything.

I have always believed in signs, whether through numbers, running into friends of the past and even car accidents. In the last week or so I have seen on television and social media, and heard on podcasts about passions and passion projects. It made me think what is my passion and what can my passion contribute to the community? Well my passion is this blog. I have talked about starting a blog for so long I knew it was going to be a fairytale for the rest of my life.

For so long I have hindered dreams because I would bounce the ideas off of people and they would say everything but what I wanted to hear. So I would just not execute them because I would doubt myself and the possibility of a good outcome. But with that mindset I blocked blessings and stopped any passion projects from starting. Now I sit here writing to anyone who is reading, what is your passion project? What legacy will you leave behind? It was when rapper XXXtentacion was murdered that I thought about what my legacy was going to leave behind. When this young man passed his legacy had a cloud of negativity and hate. Most of the people who spoke upon his life didn't even speak about his music, but how he was so misunderstood. Now take a step back and think, what legacy would you leave behind right now.

I don't want to speak on death at all, I just want to focus on how life should be right now for myself. I want to make an impact in this world, whether big or small, I want to change a life or two. I want my words to move people that they laugh, cry, and/or self-reflect. I want the youth to take writing as an avenue to escape from the world they live in. I want the moves I make as a woman to inspire young women to reach for their goals and never doubt themselves. I want my loved ones to look back on my life and said she did everything she wanted and more.
